WHO ARE WE?
Satoru and Kaori Kitani
 Satoru graduated Seiwa
University Education department and is a grade 1 licensed kindergarten
teacher and licensed child care giver. He has worked for four years in
a privately owned kindergarten in Kobe.
Satoru is a hard working, fun young man who relates well with children.
Kaori graduated Seiwa University Education
department, and is a grade 1 licensed kindergarten teacher. Currently a
home maker with a two young children, 2 and 4, Kaori will be working on
curriculum and project development.
 Sharon Fukai
 From Hawaii, Sharon has worked in children's
education for over 20 years. She teaches early childhood education
philosophy and foundations to preschool teachers and is moving to Japan
to pioneer this preschool and others in the near future. She brings
with her years of hands-on experience in international childhood
education as well as a huge network of resources and contacts
throughout the world.
Jef and Aya
Linscott
 From New Zealand in 1992.
Certificate of TESOL. Jef has worked with Minna Genki Gym in
Nishinomiya, in children's music and education for over six years.
Together with Aya they helped run a preschool in Koyoen, Nishinomiya.
He will be working in the setup and oversight of the preschool.
Aya graduated from Osaka University of
Education, and majored in Developmental Psychology, has worked
extensively in curriculum and project development and will continue to
do so in the Ashiya Preschool.
Jef and Aya have three boys aged six, four and two years.
